Most of these components were also recommended by Maximum PC. They did an article a year ago now where they spec'ed out a PC with the best "bang for your buck" components; basically a mid-range rig. I pretty much went with their picks but made a few changes based on personal preference and invaluable input from my uber geek bro-in-law, Steve Schlosnagle. It's also very important when you get the parts to arrange them in this manner for a cool pic to upload to fb. Budget: $1200.
